Universal HD having a 'Thats Life' marathon.

Universal HD is showing a "That's Life" marathon today on Thanksgiving & tomorrow on Thanksgiving. They also show episodes during the week at night.

excellent show!

I knew nothing about it during its original run years ago. I've been watching episodes on UHD all week, looks like the marathon ends fri at 7pm.

Caught them kinda out of order, but I think i've seen both seasons in just the past couple of days.

One of those times i WISH i owned a dvr...

I can't believe that this show didn't make it when it was originally broadcast! What network was this on?

I caught about 4-5 episodes during the marathon last week and I thought they were excellent. Funny that both Debi Mazur and Kevin Dillon both ended up on Entourage.

I love this show and I'm so happy it's back, but unfortuately I don't have this channel just yet. I hope to get it soon before the show goes off the channel. And to answer the question about what network this was on originally it was on CBS. I know but I watched it from the begining it was one of my favorite shows back then, still is even though it's not airing. I wish we got the see the unaired episodes I think there were 4 of them.

btw, I checked UHD's website and they are playing other episodes later of it on this month after the marathon's over this week....I think the next episodes are on January 11th or 12th and the 26th..so maybe it's being picked up on that channel for a while. wishful thinking I know, but still I'd love it to be back.

Not sure about Febuary though yet or March..I'll keep checking though because I'd love to DVR all of the episodes if I can.

It's on every Monday from 9am to 7pm. I wish CBS would have kept this show.

I'm glad I caught it, I never knew it existed before, but I can also see why it didn't last. The show starts off with very engaging characters and a charming personality, but after watching this marathon I realized how annoyed I was by most of the characters, particularly the female ones. Lydia was immediately likeable at first, but she was overly perky and smiled too much to the point where it no longer seemed authentic, and her feisty personality soon came across as insecure stubborness as time went by. Evey character seemed to get on my nerves and the show was just too predictable, everyhting always worked out in the end (often by sheer coincedence) and anyone with any life experience knows that's Not life. The show was also very politically correct which held me back from relating to it as I think more conflict would have added to the show and grounded it in reality.

I probably wouldn't have watched it past two seasons, it didn't quite go in the direction I thought. Lydia seemed to start off more mature but as the show went on, they turned her into a hyper 20 year old stuck in a 32 year olds body.
