Two EPs Didn't Make Sense

There was a marathon of the show yesterday. I noticed a couple of the endings didn't make much sense.

1: USED CAR with Sherylin Fenn. Ok it was good until the end. Now the girl possessing the car was dead. Well then how did a ghost cut someone's throat with a knife?
The wife could've died in a more supernatural way.

2: CARGO with Jamie Kennedy on a ship trying to protect stowaways. Here's another one where the ending confuses the story.
So the people are creatures who eat their own when they are SICK or WEAK on a long trip at sea. Then why were the 2 men and 2 women protecting each other? The one woman said it was their "Natural order", so why not just throw the sick to the hungry ones?

Just a few thoughts. Otherwise the one's I saw were good.
