most favorite episodes

HI,

The pilot episodes and the episode where the people had a common organ donor
and they bungee jumped at the Miranda River.

This was a great series. How come they always cancel the great series ???

That is also my favourite ( I can watch it over again)....plus Miranda's violin playing and Declan's journey to the other side when he died in the river....

"The Ties That Bind" is also my favourite. Was Alisen Down singing "Midnight Train to Georgia" in that episode or did they dub it?

reply

Declan died in a river? What episode was that? I've never seen that episode.

Beauty Made Her Think

I had to think about that too, but one where he "died" in the river was Camp Sanopi, not really a fave of mine. The only episode "Miranda" wasn't in.
I think it's the third or fourth episode of season one.

Hope that helps,
Cheryl.

I loved that episode where Declan goes to a "mystical place" (its like heaven) - Declan goes to "Camp Sanopi" (which is the title of the episode); its definitely a place where the dead cross over and get to choose the best time of their lives, the age they want to be. Declan gets to see his Uncle Kevin - who died at age 56, but is now a 12 year old boy, his Aunt Janet (Uncle Kevin's sister) is also there and chooses to live her best time which was in her 40's. Its one of my favorite episodes because its so touching, sad and happy at the same time. Declan chooses to live and go back, but he got to see his favorite Uncle and Aunt; it gives him a relief to know that they are happy - he never talks about it w/Peggy nor Miranda about his experience. I think probably because they wouldn't believe him so he just keeps it to himself. I have so many favorites and I miss this show so much. I re-watch it on youtube just to see it again, I can watch them over and over all the time. MW was a gem, it had so much potential and could've gone on for at least another few years. There NEVER was a show like Mysterious Ways it was very entertaining and I loved the cast a lot.

reply

Both..
She did sing it but due to technical and time limitations, it had to be dubbed by an uncredited performer, as the rest of the cast finished the episode.

reply

Love them all! But if I had to pick the two that stay with me, I'll have to pick the one where they find that cloth that heals people and the one where Declan discovers a lump under his arm.

All of them have something special - all of them

Hi Saga Heart,

that's my fave one too. It's called The Greater Good. I think it's awesome, seen it many times over.

Hey Piggo57.
The one where Declan finds a lump under his arm is: Face in the Crowd. Season 2 episode 16. I love Miranda's role in that episode. Very emotional.
They're all really good. I think I liked 'One of Us' best. It really suprised me with how it turned out.

Who didn't love "The Greater Good"- masterfully scripted and brilliantly acted! It should be prescribed reading for scriptwriters everywhere.

reply

I loveee The Greater Good xD
When Declan kisses Miranda on the forehead,
and she grabs his hand and doesn't want to let go.
I just rewatched it last night.
