The problems with this show.

I like the show but after watching season 1. I can tell some of the issues that probably lead to it being canceled.There were too many melodramatic episodes with out of place music. The moral lessons almost laid it on like 7th Heaven. The Peggy character was off the walls melodramatic.Her husband died and her brother was crazy. Her father left when she was young and then he turned up dead when she tried to find him. Did they really need a character with that much drama? They should have concentrated more on the supernatural.

I agree, but I think they resolved a lot of that in Season 2 when they got more budget and listened to fan feedback about the first season. The biggest change was they made it more of an ensemble by making Miranda one of the main characters, and it really changes the dynamic of the show for the better. It's a shame it didn't get renewed for a third season as I think the show had finally found its feet by that point.
