Title says it all. Anyone knows the real answer to this?
I mean, they were damn popular here in Finland and still are. Did they just run out of stories or what?
Come on, make more episodes as most of the (finnish) voice actors are alive!! :D
In my opinion there are only 76 Moomin episodes. Those were the first and original made tightly with Tove Jansson and most of the stories were based on the books and the comics. Those that came after that is basically a show of its own and has little to do with the original Moomin books. And to be honest the latter episodes are kinda awful. Especially now with Tove gone there is no way any new tv-show could capture the magic that happened in those first 76 episodes.
So just leave it be and enjoy what we have.
I totally agree with you. The "second season" is awful and way different from the original.
