I got it for 3.00 at Big Lots too! Never heard of the show before but it was the complete series so in the words of Kevin McCalister from Home Alone " I'll Give It A Whirl....."

Watching it right now, doesn't seem bad..... Not Sure what I think of it as of yet I am only like 5 mins into the first episode.

Crazy that they're mad cheap, but they are. Glad it's not one of those shows that is such a novelty item, that one has to pay over $100 for a one season boxset. I was really happy to find this gem at some bargain bin. It deserved more attention and notoriety than what it received. Too bad.

I remember being in my early teens going to the WB message boards and campaigning to save this show. I think back then, we sent soap or something to the network. I even called them. Crazy. Still miss this show and watch the entire series on a rainy day in just one sitting.

Oh, and I've met Al Santos on a few occasions. I must say, he hasn't changed a bit. Still gorgeous and a nice guy.

*beep* happens and then you live.

i just bought it on amazon, but it cost a little over 5 bucks, 8 little over 8 with shipping. wish i got it at big lots. i am waiting for it to come. anyway, i thought this was a great show back in 2000-2001. CAN'T BELIEVE THAT WAS 13 YEARS AGO? OMG! anyway, i'm excited to see the show again. i have never seen all of the episodes, but i had recorded about 5 or 6 on a vhs tape during the original run. i must have thrown the tape out when i was clearing away a lot of stuff in my room, but that was only because i knew the show had been released on dvd.

i think this show could have gone for a few more seasons. it was a odd concept, but i think it worked. it premiered during the first seasons of survivor and big brother so i think it may have failed because of the rise of reality tv. but the interesting thing about this show is that it was art imitating life, imitating art, or something like that. i was a scripted reality show where actors pretended to be actors who are stars of a scripted teen drama show. i just love the concept and it was so funny. plus, al sontos is so hot.
