I think we need another black male show like LS or Girlfriends you don't see to many shows with the men. I know in the 90s there was a show called Between Brothers it was on the level with Living Single but I think it was cancelled after a few seasons. I haven't seen any other TV shows like it lately.

There's the Real Husbands of Hollywood, but that's straight comedy ... But more shows and variety would be nice

I feel you but part of the reason Girlfriends was/is so popular is that back then there weren't that many Black female ensemble cast shows (except Living Single). There were more shows with black male leads (Steve Harvey Show, Martin, Jamie Foxx, Wayans Bros, etc) than vice versa. I think it's a good idea though but in general women give sitcoms more ratings than men and what would partially determine it's success is appealing to the female demographic.
