Petition for the show....

I am one of those who really enjoyed watching this show and am very sad that it ended... I don't think it was a question of popularity as much as it was financial strains.... the show just cost too much to produce..

Anyways on to the main point i want to start a petition and write it to CTV (the channel it was on in Canada) and maybe even ABC or whatever american channel it was on originally... Anyone want to join in?

This version of The Fugitive aired on CBS during the 2000-2001 season. But if you're saying that you want to start a campaign to get show back in production, then you'll have to build a time machine, travel back to the spring of 2001, and stop CBS from canceling it. lol

Sorry, but nothing we say or do will bring the show back to life. Too much time has past since the cancellation, and the cast and crew have since moved on to other projects (check out their respective imdb profiles for more on what they've been up to in recent years). I mean, when a show is canceled, the cast and crew don't sit around idly, waiting to see if it would eventually come back. It would be pointless, so they had to move on.

While I agree that 4-Kane is most likely absolutely right (though I would have disagreed more politely), there is a first time for everything and it certainly won't hurt anything to try. Maybe they'll replay the old ones or if enough interest is shown, heck, they could start it up again - anything's possible. The cast gathered once to make it. Nothing says they couldn't gather again to remake it...

I guess I was quite vague in my first post... I realize that actually making new episodes and restoring the series is far fetched... but with all the crappy reality shows and such that are on now i thought it would be nice if CBS, CTV or any channel would air the old episodes of the Fugitive again that's what I'd write the petition for...

No matter how "crappy" any of the current primetime shows might be, the chances of CBS or any other non-cable network airing the reruns are slim to none. However, there is a campaign going on to persuade some cable channels to air all 22 episodes of the short-lived remake. For more details on this, go to dr-richard-kimble.com.

Here in Italy we just finished re-watching Kimble/Daly show and I come to know there is no final episode to the coolest series ever seen (together with ALIAS) ?!? You klled me guys, and still can beleive this is true. But guess what...I think this stratagemma might have been wanted by the 'bosses' because that is what keeps our curiosity alive and if I remember well, even the movie ends up without a real 'ending'. BUT,IF THERE IS A PETITION I'LL SIGN!!!
LET ME KNOW!!!
