Can ANYONE tell me what the song was that was played at the ending? It sounds so familiar but, I can't find a "FreakyLinks music" list anywhere! Any help would be greatly appreciated ... (U know how it is when a song gets stuck in your head and U can't quite figure out where U heard it, or what the name of it was)?
"I'm gonna hunt for U, I WILL find U, and I will KILL U"! L.Neeson - TAKEN
The song you're looking for is TSAR's "The Girl Who Wouldn't Die" from their self-titled debut album. That episode of FreakyLinks also featured 2 more of TSAR's songs from that album, "Calling All Destroyers" and "Silver Shifter".
No problem, Bishop. While you're at it, you might want to check out the archive of the companion website to the show. It took on a life of it's own back in 2000.
Has the Haxan forum moved? I never signed up there, but I had it bookmarked and today it looks like it's gone. Their portfolio is still there. Strange.
I always figured I'd be one of the few left over when they turned the lights out and, well---
I'm really not sure what's going on with the Haxan guys. Their website hasn't been updated in forever and the forum wasn't very active outside of us "Freaks". It had been closed for a while to new members because of spammers. That's really not good when you're trying to spark new interest and discussions.
The forum disappeared at some point in early November and I've been hoping against hope that it'll return intact. (That was quite a wealth of information we'd collected over the years.) Thankfully we've still got the old FreakyLinks website intact for now.
So I guess this (looks around) is the last refuge of us few remaining "freaks".
Ladies & Gentlemen, I give you Spacemonkey FreakyLinks' first ever superfan!
Aww, shucks...
Hopefully things will improve over time for our little cult.
Ya never know... once upon a time Freakylinks had a HUGE online fanbase; I like to think all those freakers are out there, listenin' for evp and sniffin' hard for the scent of the skunk-ape.... still muttering the occasional "hurdy gur," at folks, and hoping to run across some new & cool website, with similar trappings to ol' Freakylinks.
