So...what? UP is just done with the show now?

After April 1st, after Ed Season 4 Episode 9, Ed is not on the UP! TV schedule anymore.

There were 17 episodes in season 4.

I really hope this is a mistake. My DVR is set to record the series (Comcast, Kansas City) so hopefully UP hasn't released the correct schedule to Comcast yet for the on air guide. But this would be a first time.

What has me holding out hope is their website shows Ed is on next week. Is anybody else seeing issues with their cable provider listings?

I really would be distressed if they stopped showing this with just 8 episodes left.

TVGuide only has listings until April 1st but my DVR (Dish Network) does show it continuing after "The Proposal" on Friday. "Just A Formality" is on Monday. I think TV Guide hasn't updated the new month. My recorder correctly changed from the one per day to two and back to one when the airing schedule changed last month so I assume it is correct. I would also be heartbroken if they stopped right before the end.

According to their site, UP is airing episode 409, The Proposal today (4-01-2016). They then will skip episodes 410-412.

410 Just a Formality

411 Home For Christmas

412 The Process

Next week appears to be the the last week UP will air the show for the foreseeable future. They will air the last 5 episodes 413-417.

April 5th - 413 Back in the Saddle

April 6th - 414 Hidden Agendas

April 7th - 415 Pressure Points

April 8th - 416 Best Wishes

April 9th - 417 Happily Ever After

Very, very sad news if they don't continue to air "Ed".

I thought they would air them all. I hoped they would start back from the early episodes again. I didn't realize that UP was airing "Ed" until about the 10th episodes. So, I'd like to catch those early episodes.

It is also infuriating they are skipping episodes. After all this time I invested in this show on their network...putting up with the idiotic bleeps and blurs. (Bleeping mild swear words is one thing, but the actually bleeped the use of "jackass" in the context of referring to the animal. There's "family friendly" then there's just stupid.)

It's not like I can just watch this on DVD instead. This was the only network to show this in YEARS and they screwed it up.

I wish Worldwide Pants would license the show to Netflix. Screw UP.

I'm so mad that they skipped episodes. Guess I'm going to have to search for a torrent.

I think they are shifting times. My DVR shows them airing at 1p EDT/10a PDT starting Monday April 11th.

It's also listed on tvguide.com as airing at 1 PM eastern, started Mon. April 11th, 2016.

But, still not listed on the UP website schedule.

They restarted with the pilot today.

They skipped three episodes: 410, 411, 412

Bad news. They didn't air the pilot at 1:00 PM eastern as others have mentioned. I, literally, just walked away from the TV to post this. 7th Heaven is on right now.

This is inconsistent with what my on air cable guide states. As well as what tvguide.com states.

However, it is constant with the information that UP has on their website. Which is blank in regards to upcoming episodes for Ed. Looks like Ed has ended it's run on the UP channel for the foreseeable future.

Sucks big time.

I sensed trouble in the air when

1) They started airing two episodes a day then went back to one a day.

2) Future DVR schedules at one point showed they were going to start having prime time airings if the show starting with episode one while they were showing season 3. Then, after the weekend, those prime time airings on the future scheduled recordings went away.

3) They started putting the parental advisory in front of each episode. I don't watch 7th Heaven or anything else on their network to know if they do that before any of their other shows, but the fact they changed it for Ed after it was on told me uptight viewers were complaining.

I guess the complainers got the better of the fans.

Here's hoping the series lands on a cable network that will air it unedited. Freeform maybe? Or they really should just release this on DVD.
