did he have to kiss any guys or have any kind of love scene in this show?

reply

Not in any of the aired episodes, as far as I could remember. Actually, I don't even recall him having a boyfriend. He probably had more "gay action" on Rosanne, heh (remember the episode where Rosanne caught him in bed with a guy?).

no i sure don't remember that episode and I love Roseanne. Which episode?

I'm having trouble finding a reference for it. Actually, now that I think of it, it wouldn't have been part of the "reality" of the show, Dan Conner wasn't bi. So, from what I recall, it was at the end of an episode (sort of like an outtake), where they tried to do something of an "april fools joke" on Roseanne. I'll try to figure out what episode it was...

Ok, I found a referenc. In the quotes for Roseanne here on IMDB, there's two lines:

Roseanne: Hey Dan, if you're still gay I could go for a mimosa and some eggs florentine.
Dan: I don't cook for you. I'm Fred's bitch

That's from the episode, pretty much the last bit. Can't really find more than that, sorry.

"Normal, OH" - Dan Aykroyd guest starred in an unaired episode ("He Always Gets His Man"), and as the end credits roll, John and Danny are talking about how the American viewing public's distaste of seeing two men kiss. As they move in closer for their own kiss, a blooper interrupts, and we get an after-comment from John about Dan grabbing his ass. (according to tv.com review)

"ROSEANNE" - "Skeleton in the Closet" is the Hallowe'en ep where Roseanne is tricked into thinking Fred is gay. Towards the end, John and Michael ("Fred") are in Fred & Jackie's bed together, "tricking" Rosie. Martin Mull ("Leon") and Sandra Bernhard ("Nancy"), then pop out of the bathroom, claiming "We're everywhere, Roseanne!"
She then disappears, only to return with a camera, and we are shown a company nesletter with the headline, "Garage love nest revealed" or something similar, with a pic of Dan and Fred in bed.

duey's quote is from the next morning's breakfast (after the last commercial break), right before the other prank from Bev is revealed, and Rosie blows the house up.

She didn't really catch him with another man...it was a prank...

It was one of the Halloween episodes and they were all making her think Fred was Gay then found him in bed with Dan.

Here's to those who wish me well...
