Did anyone tape the episodes of the District? I never watched it when it was on 2000-2004, but now there playing reruns on A&E. I watched one episode that I fell in love with called Thursday. It was the second season, episode 10. I had taped it on the DVR box, but lost it somehow. Can't find that one or any other except Hope and Glory. If anyone can help I would be soooooooooo appreciative. Thanks.

shareThe district is very entertaining but like most TV shows isn't very realistic. I've noticed the Chief of police likes to show up at murder scenes and be a part of the action, like the one where a homeless man was shot and their was the chief checking it out. The guy happened to be MIA, a Vietnam Vet which got the chiefs attention and that was the focus of that episode. But really, would the chief of police really be at a crime scene of a homeless man?
I mean hom many murders happen in D.C.? But I really like the show and Craig T. Nelson is from Spokane Wa which is where I'm writing from, so he is our home boy!
Yea Nobody liked it so thats why it was on for 4 years. Sometimes people dont want to watch a "realistic" cop show. Sometimes entertainment is enough..

TVaddicts.com has the 4 season set for $199 and yes it was a great show! better then crap like the office where no one can comlete a sentence!
Totally agree, I was starting to think I was the only one who can't stand The Office. Let us hope we have suffered through our last season of it and maybe they will put something on equal to The District...
