I can do without testicle eating in my movies.

I have no problem with gross-out humor as long as it has one thing...HUMOR. It wasn't funny at all and the fact that people think it was hilarious shakes my faith in humanity. P.S. Sorry if I spoiled this great cinematic masterpiece for anyone.

I thought that scene was pretty nasty. it freaked me out:S

reply

Yeah, that entire thing was nuts.

Ha

If my answers frighten you, then you should cease asking scary questions.

The humor isn't in the actual nut-eating but in all the trouble Micheal goes to to get it and his reaction when it is eaten.

reply

Really? Because I didn't find chasing after a loose testicle very funny either. But that's just me.

I can not see how someone wouldn't find such an outrageous situation like that funny. May I ask what kind of comedies you consider funny?

reply

Some of my favorite comedies include:

Almost everything by Charlie Chaplin (Limelight, City Lights, The Kid, The Great Dictator, The Circus, Modern Times, A King in New York, etc.)
Dr. Strangelove
Animal House
It Happened One Night
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Office Space
Roman Holiday

I'm not without nostalgic or "indulgent" favorites either, such as movies like Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure or A Night at the Roxbury, as well as some that are more than crude but still manage to be hilarious like Observe & Report.

The one thing all of these movies have in common? No testicle chasing/eating. But hey, to each their own. At least it wasn't a complete waste of film if some people enjoyed it.

Well, we seem to have the same overall taste in comedy. Aside from what you listed I also enjoy watching stuff like Red Dwarf, Monty Python, The Three Stooges, Red Skelton, all Kevin Smith movies except "Jersey Girl"(a movie I think even Smith has disowned lol), most of Andy Kaufman's work....and I'm tapped for now(its about time for me to hit the sack so my brain is rather addled at the moment).

May I ask a few more questions? If so, they are...

Your personal comedic tastes aside, would you say this is better or worse than the "American Pie" movies? And, on the same note, would you say this is better or worse than the "Porky's" movies? Personally, I think this movie is about square in the middle between the two with "Porky's" being the best of the lot.

**edit**Just thought of another set of movies I like: Pretty much all of Mel Brook's directing filmography.
