I totally agree, but everyone else hates this movie. i think that it is one of the funniest films i have ever seen. And jerry o'connell is really sexy!!!!

reply

yeah! i really liked this movie too! I thought it was hilarious and Shannon Elizabeth was adorable, i'd like to see her as the lead in a romantic comedy.

Jerry is a really under appriciated actor and this film is also under appriciated, but it still totally beats the ass off of deep blue sea.............

Only reason U guys loved the Movie was cause U r fans of Jerry (more specifically his body :-p). No one could have made this movie good and Jerry certainly did not succed.

reply

I'm a bigger fan of Shannon Elizabeth's body, myself, and I was disappointed as far as that goes (No Am. Pie-type scene.) But, this movie is hysterical. Except for maybe the hospital scene, a little long & repetitive. How many times can he get grossed out by "it?"
The ending had me howling. "I'm not gonna fall for that again..."
GREAT!!!

This Is one of my guilty Pleasure. However that Is because of Jaime Pressly,
and the charcter of Jill. I would have liked to see more of them. The film
had poential but except for some parts the film makers lost their nerves.
The Big problem Is this Is a film for guys, and they tried to turn It Into
a romantic comedy.

Yeah i watched it last night and at first I thought it was pure trash, but this is really a pure gem of a movie (did this even come out in europe?).Especially the the scene where the librian takes him home, that was worth an oscar(well not that much but damn it was funny)

Actually, I only got this movie cuz I'm a Shannon fan, but the first time I watched it I loved it too. It is classic. I didn't know much about Jerry O'Connell before seeing this, but this film made me like him. Even though I see this movie as awesome, I see why so many people don't like it, it does go a little overboard.

I loved this movie too. But I disagree. I think a lot of girls could like this movie. My best friend and I (we're both girls) loved this movie. It's freaking hilarious. But really it's just in your taste in movies.

reply

I loved this movie simply because it was entertaining. Hell, the acting wasn't Oscar worthy but it's just a simple sex comedy, don't expect too much. I thought the plot was quite clever, maybe it would even be entertaining in Shakespeare's day if the all the wacky sex antics and Michael chasing after Kyle's severed testicle were removed. I would like to state that I'm a girl and I still liked this movie. I also like American Pie. It was nice not to see Shannon Elizabeth in such a slutty role like in American Pie. It's good that she's not trying to typecast herself as a bimbo. The character of Natalie was actually very likable. I thought the love scene with all the roses was beautiful (Yes, I know it was just Michael's fantasy, but still). Anyway, this is a great movie to watch when your boyfriend is being a commitmentphobic.

I enjoyed the movie, but I don't think i'd watch it over and over again. I've seen it a couple of times and I'd definatly watch it if it were on, but I don't think I'd buy it or anything. Very good and very funny and I like everybody who's in it. It's definatly a 'guilty pleasure' type movie.

I loved how Jerry O'Connell's character went from typical commitment-phobic jerk to decent married guy at the end. I've always liked Jake Busey.

I thought it was funny too. I caught it late one night on F/X. I was surprised to see how many people hated it.
