Will Disney Channel ever play this movie?

Just from skimming thru this board I see that it was played in October and I don't believe it's been on since then. It's been 7 months! Damn it disney channel, there are movies that have been on 25+ times since October '06 and they can't find the time to play The Other Me even once? This is just plain wrong. Wish there was some way to let Disney Channel know that they need to play this movie again!

reply

I know. I am so sick and tired of seeing the new and recent D.C.O.M. Movies "Jump In!" and "High School Musical" for over 25 times!!! I want to see "The Other Me" as bad as everybody else. I don't believe that it's been so long since they last played it. I wish that there is some way to let them know that they need to play the movie, too, but basically, it's up to them to decide when "The Other Me" is shown. All we can do is hope and pray that we see the movie again and that "The Other Me" is shown on Disney DVD.

The famous Jet Jackson was a show before it was a movie

I really miss the old DCOM's. The shows were great back then too.

Sheesh its been about 2 years now since they played this movie! I give up...Disney Channel has obviously abandoned the old DCOMs. Well most of them anyway...Smart House, Model Behavior, etc. get good airtime still. But The Other Me gets none! UGH

reply

I know, the other me was great. I'm surprised they haven't shown Tru Confessions what with Shia Labeouf's popularity. Probably they don't want the controversy; they should have an old movie marathon. By old I mean anything they're not showing now.

Disney played this movie at 3am Oct 12. I found it a pleasant movie. I thought the cafeteria scene was marvelous. I did not realize that Lawrence was playing both characters.

I am so happy that I caught this movie randomly tonight. I miss all the old movies.

It's so corny but that's always been, my favorite scene.

Just like the movie "Rip Girls" I liked that movie too when it came out. I do miss a lot of the older movies that used to be on Disney.

Me too, but you know they aired that one at 3 am last week sometime I think. I do wish they would show some of them at 8 pm, more people would be exposed to them.

Actually I think they are starting to show Rip Girls "a lot" at that time slot. I do believe it wouldn't hurt for them to devote more of the week's 3 am slots to older DCOMS, even back to the early 90s movies like Perfect Harmony.

With as much dinero as Disney makes would an hour a few times a week hurt in place of some cartoons they play all the time?

Fortunately I taped this one when it was aired and have it in my library. But what I don't understand is why you can't find any of the Lawrence brother movies anywhere on DVD, let alone VHS. All the films the Lawrence brothers made are great in my book and I'd like to own them on DVD. What gives with Disney that none of the Lawrence brothers movies are being marketed over the years to the public for purchase? I can't find them anywhere. Seems like the whole Lawrence family fell into a blackhole somewhere. After "Going to the Mat", all the Lawrence brothers stopped making movies. Fortunately I taped "Going to the Mat as well, but still would like a DVD version, since I missed the first few minutes of the movie when it started.

Man, I wish I could have scene this list a few months ago, I had no idea "Rip Girls" came on or "Brink", and I've been wanting to watch "Alley Cats Strike" again too.

They showed Stepsister recently, which is one they haven't shown at 3 am before. So maybe that means they'll start to air others I'm dying to see like
Don't Look Under the bed. I'm pretty sure they'll show Rip Girls and Brink again, they play those a lot at that hour. I think Rip Girls was last week or so. I'm positive The Other Me played last week. Even if I don't watch them I keep track. LOL

On this Sat and sun at 3 they're airing Mom's Got a Date With a Vamp and Phantom of Megaplex, respectively, just FYI.

Sat and Sun after that it's Zenon and Jett Jackson.
