I have watched this movie twice and I am not understanding something about Linas father. Why is it that Martha can find her father when all she is given is a first name. Italy is a pretty big country. Did Lina know where her father lived, did I miss something?
There had to be a record of her marriage somewhere. Newspaper, for instance. Unsure how this translates to Germany, but in the US, you could track down a marriage certificate at a church or court house. Presumably, the sister attended the wedding so she knew a few details and just had to connect the dots.
