The plot is just nothing.

I agree I had been waiting to see this for a long time..and when I got a netflix acct...I rented it. Well, it was ok...nothing special.

I have to admit, I was impressed. I agree with you on the plot, but Kite has a very stylish, noir feel to it. Stays with you.

It could have been great, but I believe the budget was more focused on hentai-related themes, and less on story. A remake with several tweaks would probably equal a great movie.

quite right, it does stay with you, and i found myself caring about sawa and oburi. the characters are quite well fleshed out.
