They were shooting in my hometown of Halifax, N.S. and I was in the hospital scene, my parents were in it, too. I talked to William Fichtner for over two hours about acting and he gave me advice I still use on stage today, it was an awesome experience.
shareI caught this movie for the first time last night on cable. WOW !!! Very interesting story, excellent acting, great locations and an emotional roller-coaster ride like non other in many years. And the ending .... really nailed it.
shareJust saw it for the first time last night. The scene where the mom begs her son not to die as he's lying on the bed. Damn...it got man. It really got to me. I had to turn the channel of for a few moments until the intensity of that scene had passed. It brought back some painful memories for me.
