Same Basic Plot as 'The Brave One'

IS this not the same story, told differently, as "The Brave One?"

This is the plot outline from IMDB...
"A woman takes the law into her own hands after police ignore her pleas to arrest the man responsible for her husband's death, and finds herself not only under arrest for murder but falling in love with an officer.

The Brave One has the the plot reworked so there is a happy ending...but it sounds the same to me.

Nope, not at all. Heaven came out way before The Brave One, and the films couldn't be much more different. It's obvious that you've only read IMDB's vague plot summary here and not actually seen this film.

The Brave One is a vigilante movie and this one is a get payback for her husbands killer. Not the same or similar thing.

The Brave One is like Death Sentence but instead of a women its a man in Death Sentence both came out the same year. I really enjoyed Death Sentence more.

I am a gore watching freak!!!

If it don't have it, it isn't worth the watch.
