Did anybody notice the Steve Martin line?

Carlin is my all-time fave comedian, but I was shocked (shocked!) to hear him utter the following line:

"You never hear someone say, 'Do anything you want with the girl, but leave me alone.'"

That's a straight lift from a Steve Martin c. 1977 (or '78?) routine. Can't be coincidence. It's especially weird because Carlin has way more integrity than Martin.

But y'know, I'll let it slide this once. George has been providing the best and (99%) original standup for a generation.
