stange role for meatloaf

I am used to him in those off characters like in Fight Club and Pick of Destiny.

Once there was a very ugly barnacle. He was so ugly that everybody died. The End

reply

Perhaps. However he considers it a good film so it must have some good qualities to it.

reply

He should consider it a good film, because it is. Meat Loaf, aka Michael Aday, has really blossomed as an actor, and if you can't see his talent here, you need glasses.

reply

I heard he considers himself an actor first, a singer second.

reply

I've heard that many times. Meat Loaf, or whatever he goes by these days, has been a natural on film ever since "Rocky Horror." But I hope he doesn't totally give up on the rockin'.

reply

He better not quit, he is is a very good actor but he is a phenomenal singer--there is no one else out there that does the type of dramatic, big ballads that he does; he is his own genre of music.

reply

I totally agree. The man can spin a story through song like no one else. Singing is the backbone to any characters he creates. I've been very impressed with his performances as an actor, but I hope he doesn't give up on music. It's what truly gives him, uh, focus. Ideally he'd have a role where he acts as well as sings.

reply

And it was hard to tell it was good old rock and roller long-haired Meatloaf. He looked like a real 1940s clean cut guy, which shows he did a good acting job.
