Just because I'm impressed by the stunt men

This may not have been a great movie, but it wasn't a BAD movie. The stunts are pretty impressive.

This is an action flick. Pure and simple. Storyline? What storyline?
If you're looking for a story that moves you, read the book.

If you're looking to see people play leap frog on horseback, then this film is for you!

Speaking of leap frog on horseback, I've noticed a similarity with regards to the stunt men in this movie and other movies made around the same time that seem to do exactly the same kind of stunts. I'm guessing this is one specific equestrian acrobatic team? Very cool stuff. I didnt look at credits but I'm wondering if the stunt team is linked to Mario Luraschi? The Andalusian/Lusitano type horse seem to always be present. Like if anyone knows anything about the stunt team I'm curious what other movies they appear in.

I looked over the credits of the movie. I can't confirm that there is a stunt team of riders.

However, the shared movies of the stunt riders include:
"Liaisons dangereuses, Les" (2003) (mini) TV Series (stunts)
... aka Dangerous Liaisons (USA)
"Napoléon" (2002) (mini) TV Series (stunts)
... aka Napoleon (Europe: English title)
The Musketeer (2001) (stunt rider)
A Knight's Tale (2001) (stunts)
Pacte des loups, Le (2001) (stunt double: horse stunts)
... aka Brotherhood of the Wolf (USA)

The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999) (horses stunts)
... aka Joan of Arc (Australia) (UK)
... aka Jeanne d'Arc (France)
The Man in the Iron Mask (1998/I) (horseman)

Not every rider was in all of them, but Joan of Arc & Napoleon seem to employ them all.

this is a late replay but thanks for that list

Actually, Ive seen all of those films (just to check out what stunts would be performed).

Le Pacte des loups would have to be my favorite for the photography, costuming, and of course the stunt work. Knight's Tale would have to be a favorite too.
