Wow!!

I have been a Takeshi Miike fan for a while now and there have been some hit or miss movies with this director but this is NOT one of those! This movie is wonderfully stylized mixing japanese, chinese and brazillian culture to form a beautiful mesh. Interesting characters, great fight scenes, hilarious nods towards the different cultures such as hilariously CG animated brazillian cockfights and ping pong battles along with plenty of traditional (? lol miike breask tradition) yakuza stuff. All in all I was extremely pleased with this movie, it had great style, comedy, action and plot. Miike really is the master. :) Think of this as a yakuza comedy with a touch of drama towards the end. It's really great.
