Bombing of Amsterdam during World War II

How badly was the city bombed? There is a scene where there is an air raid and Peter shouts "They are bombing the airport" the bombs also seem to land quite close to the annex (judging by how the rooms shook) but the next scene during morning shows no bomb damage.
