in the concentration camp when hannah first thre the food package to anne- was is mrs van pels that tackled anne fpr the food package?

Not only does it not make sense(Mrs. van Pels was a long time family friend, had just lived in hiding with them for two years and also happened to be taking care of Margot and Anne at the time) but it's also not true. If you want proof check the cast list and you'll see another actress playing the "Food stealing woman."
Incidentally in real life the woman only happened to catch the package and wouldn't give it back.

Thank you for the answer to this. I also thought the woman looked similar to Mrs. Van Pels. However, due to the darkness of that scene, it's a little hard to tell. I also thought it wouldn't make sense that Mrs. Van Pels would do something like that...
