Oct-Nov 2011 now rotating on Showtime

Showtime seem to track closely how many viewers each movie gets and I've now spotted it half a dozen times so it must be a draw. A drama rather than a teen comedy with some tension building into how things will work out.

Nice ballet school touch. A very funny sex scene and Danny Masterton does well in an unflattering part. Pretty Angela Gots asserts herself to come out a winner, and Genevieve Bujold is in a small but vital part.

This seemed like an odd little film that has the vibe of an afterschool special. After I watched it, I found it to be a charming little period piece (late 1970s). The main character is compelling.
