Thanx gurl it worked better than "youtube" but it was still breaking in the visual department but the music ran right through so I was pleased.
No prob Yeah, I tend to like to see videos in wmv (Windows Media Video) more so than Flash. They're just more cleared--IMO.
I can't even lie ...I thought it was going to be some white rock band(which I have nothing against) "Lovestruck" just appeared to me that way, but I was definitely feeling that song...
Yeah, I understand that. Jesse actually does play rock music and even has experienced in metal too.
on the real though it was like a mixture of Micheal Jackson and Prince...now that song is stuck in my head..."lovestruck...lovestruck" (fades out)
LOL, I'm not surprised you said that. Especially with Prince, b/c Jesse was apart of one of Prince's 1st protege bands (The Time). Jesse was the former guitarist, he went solo in '85 releasing Jesse Johnson's Revue
, in '86 released Shockadelica
, and in '88 released his last album on A&M Records Every Shade of Love
. In the '96 he released a rock album titled Bare My Naked Soul
--WAY better than Emancipation
(The Artist '96 release)--IMO.
He's been compared to Prince MANY times in the past..esp. during '85 & '86. Even been called worse..but truthfully Jesse has his own style and really by '88 he kinda slides into somma'that New Jack!
Matter fact, check out this track from one Jesse's proteges:
"My Girl" - Kool Skoolhttp://www.zshare.net/audio/prince-jesse-johnson-kool-skool-my-girl-mp3.htmlNOTE:
The reason 'prince' is added in the title is b/c it's a tag..so that way it makes it easier to find. But Prince really doesn't have anything to do with this project. It's all Jesse's and Kool Skool's.
Tell me that track ain't New Jack soundin'! One of my favorites too. It sorda underground..although they did release an album and has made it to CD, back in 1990.
I love pop type songs like that.
I got lots more!
Have u seen "Krush Groove??" that song reminded me of a song Sheila E did in that movie.
OMG! I wanna see that movie!!! I wish TVOne would show it. I figured since they showed "Beat Street" months back, they'd be airing "Krush Groove"..but not yet. I think I have that song/video where Sheila E. did, it's called "A Love Bizarre". I could try 'n upload that for ya if ya like?"It's the talk of tounge" - Color Shock
