It wasn't SOUL FOOD, but this was an enjoyable film that managed to employ a large number of talented black actors in putting over a believable story. LL Cool J and Darius McCrary were definite eye candy and there were great performances by Viveca A. Fox, Jada Pinkett Smith, Loretta Devine, Whoopu Goldberg, and Anthony Anderson. It's no Oscar worthy film, but it is watchable and worthy of multiple viewings.

shareI thought this film was hilarious. It came out after Jada hadn't done any comedy in a good while and I forgot how funny she can be. To me, she was the funniest thing in the whole movie. Everyone did a great job. Also I loved seeing Vivica in this role, it was so different from what a lot of her roles are and she did good. Great job.
