I love most of the actors in the movie, but I was pretty bored watching it. The plot moved too slowly. Anybody agree?

When I saw the commercial I was so excited because they put most of my favorite actors together in one movie BUT in turned out to be very boring

I know that
I like Deliver Us from Eva, Waiting to Exhale, Big Momma's House, Love Jones, Love and Basketball, Two can play that game and NONE of these movies have gun fire

Yep, that's it. It was too slow. Maybe because they were in the south and the south is none for having a slower pace than the rest of the U.S.

Too slow, and not really funny. Only funny characters were Cedric the Entertainer and Loretta Devine. Jada Pinkett Smith was annoying as *beep* in this movie.

I TOTALLY agree. I had recorded this movie off IFC and just got to watch it yesterday. For a movie with SO much talent in it, I didn't think it was very good at all, and I didn't get many laughs out of it. However, Loretta Divine stole the show. She was great,
