yes, she's gorgeous -- but forget all that.
her acting style is rare, honest, and overwhelmingly vulnerable; and she is a master of it!
i stopped thinking about her beauty the second she began speaking, and that's not an easy test for any modern actor to accomplish.
she is an underrated talent for sure... especially in these days of "assembly-line youth and beauty" being more important than a great character embedded in a marvelous story.
I loved her! I can not imagine anyone else who could have played the role any better. I wish the deleted scene where she stood up to Fernand had been left in.

She was a guest on Person Of Interest. She did a great job playing an abused wife, running from her abusive husband and trying to stay one step head of him. She and Jim Caviezel didn't have a lot of scenes together on that episode but it was nice seeing them work together again. Of course, when I saw that episode for the first time I did not know they had worked together before on The Count Of Monte Cristo. Now it's a little treat.
