Oliver lookalike

Was the old Nazi villain supposed to look like Laurence Olivier's character, Szell, in Marathon Man? The resemblance was uncanny with the wire-rim glasses and the way his mouth turned down at the corners. All he needed was a dentist's drill and some clove oil.

All in all a pretty silly flick that didn't really fulfill even it's own modest ambitions.
