Both very different films granted, but which film did you enjoy more. Both came out at the time of a Mexican cinema "boom" and I must admit I was touched a lot more by Y Tu Mama Tambien.
Both films are great.

I definitely enjoyed Amores Perros more. However, I really enjoy Y Tu Mama Tambien.It is a really hard decision as both are fantastic, but AP comes out on top for me.

shareThough I don't dislike it, I think YTMT is a bit shallow because is focuses too much on sex. Amores Perros has more depth.
shareDefinitely Amores Perros. Its much more deeper than y tu mama tambien. Although i love y tu mama tambien i just feel that Amores Perros has more meaning and as someone else said its not just about sex.
shareFor me I prefer Y Tu Mama Tabien as I prefer the storyline and characters. Plus coming of age I can relate to more than ex-Guerilla dog loving mexican tramp, dog fighting, supermodel to physically impaired etc
Plus I'm sure we can all agree Y. T. M. T had some quite catching scenes.. :P
No comparisan at all. If AP is pacific ocean then YTMT is a pond. Mostly sex flick with artificially added supplant of her terminal illness.
shareY TU MAMA TAMBIEN's end was something else. I mean, whole point was revealed at the end and i couldn't be satisfied more in any other movies.
