Why was everyone such a dick to him?

Now don't get me wrong, I thought this movie was pretty good, for the most part but everyone was literally a dick to him! Robbie, the douchebags at the beginning, those motherf_ckering pricks at the foster home when he was a kid (I think they were actually Robbie and his gang) and the that one guy who kicked his ass but then got set on fire (thank god). Stupid @sshole bullies, makes me wish something bad could be done to them, karma never punishes them and murder is too good for them! At least the sequel did away with this (for the most part) yet people hate the sequel? Oh please, it was better than this one and not just because it lacked bullies. At least in the Harold & Kumar films, the duo don't put up with the bullies' $hit! They literally royally f_ck them over, like those extreme punks in the first film! Too bad Joe could've been like that in this film. Hell, even Happy Gilmore didn't put up with $hit from bullies like Shooter! Did the alpha male briefly die in the early 2000s? Sure, I'm very happy that bullies are FINALLY becoming a rarity in films and TV but damn, why did it take so long!

People that bully others are actually just insecure, so they have to beat others down to make them feel better about themselves. And there's always been insecure, paranoid people in the world acting like idiots so they can feel cool.
