The Bound Woman

Was she anyone else's favorite ghost? The others were obviously all disturbing and great as well but something about her still creeps me out and intrigues me. Maybe it's the way she just floats around with a bloated face, twitching around like that. Or the scenes when the camera would pan around the basement and you could hear her maniacal cackles echoing throughout.

The one thing I always used to wonder about her was how she could attack anyone seeing as how her limbs are bound. I just assumed that maybe with her ghosty powers she could instantly snap their necks or something. But the other night I rewatched the movie for the first time in years and now I'm thinking less of an attacker and more of a spirit that lures people to danger. Kind of like the old tales of sea sirens that would lure sailors to their deaths.

"I think I liked it better when I thought Sylar ate brains."

I guess they were both there to scare people into the path of other ghosts, just like the First Born Son.

CRAWL on you!

...then turn around and crawl over you again.

The firstborn son had a tomahawk though, not saying he used it but that may have been his weapon.
The pilgrimess was in stocks so she must have been similar.
The ghosts were much more interesting than anything else in that movie :)
