No more DARK CASTLE movies??

I recently rewatched House on Haunted Hill and Thir13en Ghosts (with my kids this time out), and really enjoyed the rewatch. I recall looking forward to the next Dark Castle horror movie (I think I saw most of the earlier ones in theaters...including Ghost Ship, Gothika & House of Wax)..

I go on Wikipedia and it looks like Dark Castle entertainment is dead in the water?!? There's mention of Blumhouse trying to do a co-production with DC, but it never happened.

Looks like it. Joel Silver left Warner Brothers and took Dark Castle with him to Universal. As of late 2015, he has not announced any future projects for Dark Castle.
Robert Zemeckis and Gilbert Adler left a long time ago.
Like you, I thoroughly enjoyed the early Dark Castle films. House in Haunted Hill, Thirteen Ghosts, Ghost Ship, Gothika. Even House of Wax was a great remake.
And then they stopped making horror and went for low budget easy money making films, which still didn't make any money.
They had a great concept in the beginning to remake classic William Castle films. Too bad they went astray.
