This movie should be remade.

I personally enjoyed this movie. But yea. There were some pretty dumb moments, annoying editing, yadda yadda. If they could remake it today, 15 or so years later, I believe it could be great. I love the story of the movie, and the 12 ghosts, their stories, and etc.

I don't know why bad (but popular) movies are so rarely remade. With our improved CGI today and casting more relevant actors, Thirteen Ghosts could be a horror classic.

Well - whoops. I didn't realize this is already a remake in itself. 13 Ghosts from 1960 that is. I feel stupid for commending the good story then, as it wasn't even their own.

Still, though, I guess another remake could be interesting?

I would like to see a version where he succeeds with the eye, and then trying to stop him after having all the power.

They should remake it again wherein viewers need special glasses to see the ghosts. Apparently they did it in the original but with the tech nowadays they could get more creative with this.

That would be pretty epic to be fair...

I liked this movie too. THe BIGGEST problem I had with this were the ghosts. THey were onto something, but they needed to be more menacing. The family was okay, except I wish the little boy wasn't so little and obnoxious.

I agree! Though it may not be the best movie, I thoroughly enjoyed the concept and content. I would love to see this in the hands of James Wan and Guillermo Del Toro.

Why do so many people want remakes? 95% of them are just crap that rely too heavily on CGI. I personally want new, interesting stories, or film adaptations of novels that haven't been done yet. This re-hash generation is just sad to me.

But, we all have different tastes. I agree, if the movie was done correctly, it could be very good. I just don't have faith in remakes anymore.

But, to each their own. 

When movie hell is full, re-makes shall walk the earth.
