This would've made an awesome videogame...

...moreso than a movie. Don't get me wrong; this was a fun movie with creepy elements and ghosts but imagine if the developers of the Silent Hill (Konami?) games got ahold of this. It would be a cross between Doom 3, Fatal Frame and SH and the plot nor annoying family would have to be part of the game. I'm sure there are writers that can come up with something abit more palatable.

Just to try and get away from The Jackal, Hammer or Juggernaut who may be around any corner is defintely worth 55-60 bucks to own. Anyone else think so?

I'll sooo agree with that! And maybe bumping it up some up and coming video game creator will see it and run with the idea! Sort of a Fatal Frame-ish type of game.

I'd be too scared to play it, but yes, it would've made an awesome game!

It owed too much to Fatal Frame I think.

because I plan on doing just that. I have an Indiegogo campaign going here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/get-me-started-creating-games/x/954 0052 to help me get started. Well, finished is a better word. I already have the game play and AI planned out. The hardest part is going to be trying to figure out the layout of the house. If anyone here has any input on that it would be much appreciated, as well as checking out the link.

Have it like Myst meets Silent Hill.

Agree, this and Battle:Los Angelos seemed to be written as video games but ended up becoming movies instead.

I agree. I enjoyed Until Dawn and I think this would play out in a similar way if it was.
