Better than I expected

I just watched the final episode of "Further Tales" on LOGO. Despite the critcism, it is very good. Well written, great acting (as usual), a fine third installment of Maupin's Tales.

When the original series came out in 1993, it was considered controversial and ground breaking. But after 2000, Queer as Folk came out and made Tales of the City look very tame in comparison. So compared to other gay series, the storytelling style of Further Tales of the City is a bit "dated" and lost its edge so some current younger gay viewers were bored with the series.
