Yeah, even though I didn't like the apartment episodes as much, I was glad to see Yonro and the Manlady (landlady) make a brief comeback. I'll have to watch that episode again to see if I can catch all his references.
#1. Krom, I have no tongue for prayer... Conan the Barbarian (Krom was the god Conan's father told him to believe in, even though Conan rarely prayed.
#2. Thundercats Ho! Thundercats - if I remember correctly, this was the Thundercats' call to battle, usually shouted by their leader Lion-O.
#3. Right now I'm a sexual Starscream, in college I'll be a sexual Unicron... Transformers the Movie. Starscream was Megatron's flunkie and Unicron was a transformer large enough to eat entire planets to use for fuel.
#4. When I finally got to school I was more nervous than the ED-209 on a staricase... Robocop. ED-209 was a powerful law enforcement droid that didn't do to well negotiating stairs, or hearing weapons drop.
#5. I was as scared as Cringer... He-Man. Cringer was the main character's cowardly pet tiger that turned into a fearless beast whenever his owner changed into He-Man.
#6. Frak! I signed up for the wrong test at the wrong school! Battlestar Galactica. Basically the same as the F-bomb.
#7. As you wish... The Princess Bride. I wouldn't have caught this one if Mitsy hadn't just made a comment that the background music sounded like something out of The Princess Bride. And Yonro didn't say it, the Noharas did. As you wish was what the Pirate Roberts said to the girl to make her realize he was her long lost boyfriend Wesley.
#8. Oh my Krom if I pass we'll be at the same college... again from Conan the Barbarian.
#9. You will be the Dale Arden to my Flash Gordon. Flash Gordon. I don't know how the relationship was in the 40's comics or shows, but Flash was the hero and Dale fell in love with him during the course of the movie. Dale was also the love interest of Ming the Merciless.
#10. This family of Muggles is right... Harry Potter. Muggles are regular people not gifted with the powers of magic.

I don't remember the Muggles thing, but I'll take your word that it happened and say that as much of a geek as Yonro is he doesn't seem like the Harry Potter type.

So, Yonro's back this episode! That's awesome, I'd love to see him as a real recurring character. This episode was good, the crazy teacher is always disturbingly funny, and I love how the neighbor kept mentioning that weird medical condition she has. I think the first segment was probably a lot different in the Japanese version though. And I also don't get the whole "Doyle's hands" thing. Like, do you get callouses from jacking off? >_> <_<
