Freedom and mortality (spoilers)

The film's narrator throws in some strange lines but they all seem relevant to the story and its themes. I was thinking about the pigs that trashed the trio's camp on the beach and why we were told their fates. It made me think about Luisa's fate and Chuy's and his family's. But I think that what the pigs and some of the characters show is that with mortality comes freedom. Luisa is able to embark upon a road trip that is, ultimately, spiritual for her. Chuy and his family have a free life even with its hardships but their life style ends. The idea of mortality runs through everything including the sex scenes where Julio and Tenoch expire all too soon.

Ever tried, ever failed?
No matter.
Try again, fail again.
Fail better.
