My Favorite Part

I finally decided to watch this film and couldn't feel better about it. Let me first just say, Y Tu Mamá También is almost perfect. I have never before seen male adolescence captures so perfectly on screen. Regardless of how weird people get when it comes to two boys being very close, this is indeed how really close male friends are with one another. No, we don't get drunk and make out during threesomes (or at least I never have), but we are indeed capable of an intimacy that is usually reserved for female friends and/or couples. Finally, my favorite part of this movie was when the boys were fighting and Luisa storms out of the car and says something along the lines of "Who cares if you have *beep* each other's girlfriends when you cum as quickly as you do!" That line (while I'm sure I butchered it) made me laugh hysterically, because it is one of those brutally honest lines that tend to flow out in moments of extreme annoyance/rage. It was also very true - those poor characters REALLY needed to work on their stamina. I loved this damn movie.
