Why did Enders want the Navajo to stop writing?
Why did Enders sharply order the Navajo guy to stop writing that letter (on the truck)?

shareProbably so they couldn't identify him as a navajo incase he was captured.
"Don't hate the player, hate the game."
Because he didn't want mail headed for the Navajo reservation to be captured by the enemy. If mail with Navajo language were captured, it might endanger a piece of the code.
shareThat's right. He was inadvertently giving away too much about the code in the letter, by writing in Navajo. If they should be captured, or killed, the enemy might get ahold of it and learn Navajo, and thus learn the code.
sharehe is writing in English (the opening line is "Hey George") so it is not the language he is concerned about but the address. as Enders says it that mail addressed to the reservation may tip off the Japanese that the unbreakable code is Navajo.
