This movie's use of slow-mo

Was awful IMHO. Don't get me wrong, when used ery well it can truly elevate a film, but not in this film sadly. It really felt like it was used at times when it was not needed and lessened much of the drmatic effect of the scenes that it was used in. What do you guys think?

Peace!

Oh my God! TibetteSharman, you're on this board too!

In any case, the slo-mo in this film is not real slo-mo (shooting at a high frame rate). It's home-made slo-mo (using the editing software to repeat frames). It was probably done this way because they decided to slo-mo it during post-production. In other words, they neglected to get a high frame rate camera during production.

As far as dramatic impact is concerned, I thought it worked fine; albeit slightly corny.
