The only thing that bothered me
Was the vampires reliance on guns. WAY too much, they're vampires they should be ripping throats open and feasting on their kills, especially Kit.

shareI was thinking the same thing.. It seemed very odd..
shareI found it rather refreshing for them to use guns. And Kit did push that one jerk's heart out of his chest. The idea is that they don't want to draw too much attention to themselves, so using guns makes it easier for their kills to blend into the normal carnage of our world.
Well, in the immortal words of Darkwing Duck, 'Lets get DANGEROUS!'
I liked the way the movie downplayed the typical vamp equipment. The fold-out fangs always takes the scare away for me, as does overly creative werewolf-growing-of-hairs/ripping-of-skin/shape-shifting gore. Too much focus on special effects steals from the plot (which admittedly was a bit weak in this movie, but that made the subtlety of the vamp characteristics even better for me).
"It's not easy having a good time!" - Dr. Frank N. Furter.
Yeah, I didn't like the guns. I guess I'm a traditional vampire lover.
shareVampires!.... with GUNS! XD
You! Obey the fist!
RIP Heath Ledger
I thought it was to disguise their crimes- make them look like robberies or gang crimes. It made sense to me.
shareProbably. Still funny though. I would think it better to just disappear people I feed on. Better than disguising your crimes is to hide the fact that there was one, keep as low a profile as possible and so on. Just my personal preference though.
