Stepmother?

When did Ray get remarried? I recently saw an ep for the first time where Reggie mentions her "stepmother," but I've never seen her mentioned before. Was it in one of the movies? What's the story?

I wish they'd put out season sets of this show. Sure, logically speaking it made no sense, but I enjoyed it anyway, and still do.
