THE EDITING SUCKS!!!

Uzumaki is an interesting enough story with some amazing special effects (and i'm not a special effects person) and it was genuinely creepy. My only problem is the way some scenes were directed really pissed me off. A blind freshman could edit this film better. Don't get me wrong, i liked it... a lot, but some of the fades between scenes were completely out of place. Some fades were good but for the most part i couldn't get past the few scenes with horrible direction. I give it a 7 out of 10.

You're right. The editing in this film is among the worst editing I have ever seen.

All you maggots smoking fags on Santa Monica Blvd. You should have never trusted Hollywood

I think that the editing is kinda silly, but it fits in well with the film. It reminded me of the editing in RAY but that was way more annoying I thought.

You should reallhy see Devil Fish for the absolute WORST editing ever. THEN come in here and see where you place Uzumaki in the whole scheme of things

You've obviously never seen any of Lucio Fulci's movies. He set the watermark for bad editing.

I think none of you really get stylized editing. Really the editing didn't stand out to me in negative or positive. It was just normal and regular like all other movies I watch...Though sometimes it was different a bit. I mean what? you want every movie to be exactly the same style? boring.

Remakes suck.

I didn't really pay attention too much at the editing but it didn't stand out in a negative way IMO. Some ideas were silly, some were cool, but that was ok with me. The whole film was so full of unusual and well done camerawork so I think the visuals were ok.
