Cant get it to work

I cant get Monkey Island 1 to play on my PC.

I have the Bounty Pack and 2 and 3 play fine, but 1 just wont.

The game loads and starts normally, upto the point you take control. Then when I try to leave the docks to go into the scumm bar, back to the cliffs, or into town, the game crashes. It says something about a missing file, despite the fact the file exists on the CD when I looked there.

Im using a PC with XP. Anyone know what the problem is?

www.scummvm.org that should help :D Makes it look better aswell. Maybe try copying the files off the cd also if scummvm doesn't fix it.
