Inherit The Earth - recommended, yes!

Hello. Its been ages since I ever played a computergame, so I lately looked through my old archive of games and I noticed that I had this little old gem in possession.

I tried it before, and its very... hrmm.. complicated/intelligent in one way, and still is like a little childrens game in other senses, so I kind of understand that this game never got the same success as other adventuregames. Still its a very good little adventuregame and should be right up the alley for Monkey Island fans. Its perhaps ripping Monkey Island a bit off, but at the same time its very different and has a very different plot.

Anyway, I played it again the last few days and I finally finished it. Yes. It has its flaws, and sometimes seems a bit stiff alright, but a bit into the game its getting really good and very enjoyable.
A minus for the labyrinths though(there's only a couple!), but only use a walkthrough for those. I did.
I guess Rif the fox isn't as cool as Guybrush either. Rif is more of this "noble and honest warrior" types, but there are other very funny and interesting characters around the game.

The graphics is just as good as Monkey Island 1+2, which is good for nostalgic reasons. It also has the SCUMM bar thing, which also is good. Its very stiff at first, but it loosens up after a while.. making a good misunderstood old game. If you want another Monkey Island like game, you really should get this!
It certainly isn't as great as Monkey Island, but its still a lot of fun.
