I got the Special Edition. Its pretty good, though there are a few problems with it. For one the voice of Largo just sounds....wrong. Completely different to how I always imagined it. Although thats purely my own opinion of course.

One definite problem is that they cut out the opening credit sequence. No monkey dance! It just goes from the prologue scene of Guybrush and Elaine to the campfire scene! I dont know why they felt the need to cut out such a great opening, especially when they left in the opening from the first game.

I'm loving it so far, on chapter 3, but yeah the voice of Largo just doesn't sound right, nothing like what I imagined it being, same as the Lookout guy in the remake of the first game, I didn't notice they left out the opening credits at first, not sure why they would do that.

Just need a Monkey Island 3 Special Edition now, only needs converting to HD and widescreen since it already looks great and already has voices.

How 'bout the Spitmaster? I totally thought, "That's not the voice of a spitmaster." Check out Grim Fandango wearing a black hat, in a photo frame on the wall inside Phatt's mansion.
