Why is this on Comedy Central?

There's nothing remotely funny about it.

It's corny and full of shuckin' and jivin', plus it's full of horrible acting and the writing is too loose. I knew how ugly things would get when I heard the dreaded uttering of the term "Daaaaaaaayum!!"

Yeah, the cute chicks in it are definitely cute...but so-called movies like this go straight to video for a reason. It's like New Line even knew better than to attempt a January theatrical run (you know, where bad movies usually go), as it wasn't even worthy of THAT much.

Then again, maybe it's all a joke they want to see who all gets. Maybe this wasn't meant to be lost in, but to bring out the movie critic in us.

I agree. They show some stupid movies sometimes. They have some good and even great ones. Some of the good ones they stop showing though and that gets me angry because they still show the crappy ones instead.

u are very right. there wasn't even ONE moment in the whole movie where I laughed or even smiled due to funniness. But seeing Meagan Good with her sexy braces, and Alexis Fields made it all worth while! :) Well at least they made it watchable for me.

Yeah I agree, I am watching this movie, and i can't beleive that this made it of production because it is so bad

Wow, they're showing it again today. This is THE most horrible "comedy" I have ever seen. What was the production budget, $200-$300?

Hahaha, yeah, it's on TV right now . The teacher is snooping around. Nothing like Ferris Bueller right?

Anyway, it's extremely annoying because they're using the same classical music in every scene.

I too have it on in the background right now. While it is horrendous on every level, at least it's not Juwanna Man. Of course, when Juwanna Man is on, I'll say "At least it's not House Party 4". My guess is that they're required by contract to show it X amount of times, and that the 10 a.m. slot is the least likely to bother anyone. Could you imagine if they put it on at 8 at night or something? Ugh.

While we're on the subject of Comedy Central movies, I'm surprised that they never snatched up the rights to BASEketball.

I could say the same thing about Scary Movie 2. I don't think that movie was funny either and it was on Comedy Central.

it's on right now. it doesn't seem like the i'd-rather-shoot-mysel;f-in-the-foot kind of movie, but i haven't seen the other house parties to compare it to.

It was really funny and brilliantly done. If you don't get it, you don't get it. Every scene with those two fat girl twins had me practically on the floor laughing. Sorry that you missed out. Now go watch Teletubbies, Frasier, Sesame Street, or whatever it is that you consider funny.

I have heard of those, mostly comedies for old people. Of course, being a "led zeppelin fan," this movie is too new for your generation to understand. You old fogeys need to stick with the stuff you like, like Golden Girls, Cheers, and Donna Reed. Let the new generation enjoy great comedies like HP4, as well as the rest of the high quality House Party franchise.

Yeah! What's wrong with anything pre-1990? I like the Beatles better than Eminem. I like The Three Sttoges better than Friends. Whoever said that old stuff is crap better shutdafucup (misspelled intentionally).

I agree, the sound in it is horrible. There's practically no directing or cinematography and all the jokes are horribly overdone.

...Then again it does have Meagan Good in a two piece, so it's not a total loss.

HP1,2,3 were way better maybe because kid n' play were in it. thats why this one sucked
